A Little About Me

My name is Randeep Stevens and I’m the founder of Good Steward Accounting.

I wanted to be an accountant since I was 16 years old. I remember stressing about what I wanted to do “when I grew up,” and one night I heard a quiet whisper say, “accountant.” I remember feeling a sense of calm and thinking, that feels right. I took an accounting class in high school soon after and loved it. From that point on, my path felt set.

I spent the first 10 years of my career in public accounting, working with businesses and organizations across a wide range of industries. I enjoyed the work and learned a tremendous amount, but over time I realized the pace and demands of public accounting were difficult to sustain once I had a family. I eventually shifted into financial analysis and reporting for a large hospital system, where I spent another 10 years strengthening my skills in financial analysis, reporting, problem solving, and operational support.

Over the course of my 20+ year career, I gained valuable experience, but eventually found myself wanting work that felt more meaningful and personal. I realized I most enjoyed helping businesses that didn’t have large finance departments or endless internal resources. Many simply needed someone trustworthy to help bring clarity, organization, and support to their financial operations.

Today, I use my experience to help business owners simplify their accounting processes, better understand their numbers, and create systems that genuinely support the way their business operates.

I value thoughtful work, honest communication, and building long-term relationships with the people I serve.

Life Outside of Work

For much of my early adult life, I was focused on building the kind of career and life I thought I wanted. Over time, my faith in Jesus changed the direction of my life and the way I view success, work, family, and stewardship.

Today, my husband and I live in the beautiful town of Bonners Ferry in North Idaho with our children, where much of our life revolves around homeschooling, homesteading, and building a slower, more intentional way of living.

My faith shapes the way I approach both life and work, and I value honesty, clear communication, and serving others with care and integrity.
